Red face Just bought a Macro 90mm lens recently...

These two pics were taken last friday using my new Tamron Macro 90mm Di... I know that they were not that good... but still I wanna share them with you, my fellow friends.

These are good, I like the way the white centre of the flower stands out from the purple. I like the shot of the green bug best though.

Good work with the new lens. That's a ferocious looking monster there, no, wait it's a grasshopper. I like the white 'bit' (technical botanical term there) in the haze of purple flower.

(Here's a trick I picked up on this site, sorry I can't remember who brought it up. Carry a spray bottle of water for those flower macro shots and give the leaves/petals etc a light misting just before you capture your shot. The water droplets look great in macro, or you could use shallow DoF and get some bokeh)

I also bought the Tamron 90mm Macro lens a few months back, now it hardly leaves my camera.
Nice shots, and I know there are many many more to come, have fun!
