My first star picture

I took this when I was driving through Eastern Colorado. It was late
and I needed to stop for a break and with the view of the sky without
any lights around, I'm glad I did stop. This is the best of about 9
shots that I took, all using manual mode and trying to manually
focus. It came out better on the small LCD of the camera, once I
uploaded it to my computer it was pretty blurry. I had a small tripod
that I sat on top of the car. There was a noticeable difference in
image quality with the car turned off. I also got to use the new
remote my mom gave me for Christmas. I can't wait to get some better
star pictures!

Nice! You can see even a hint of the magnificent Orion's Nebula!
Don't mind if it's blurry, when your shutter opens for more than 5 seconds it happens (if you don't have a rotating tripod of course).
