Winter can be challenge in the northern hemisphere with the severely shortened days. Despite the general lack of light, I've still been trying to get out and photograph.

I love the second shot. b&w changes the whole way we interpret a picture. I think the tree in shadow really makes the shot.
Is that reflections in the door glass? cool. |

Thanks all for the comments. Ollie, yes, the black and white conversion was certainly the way to go with that picture. Most of the street lights were the orange sodium vapor kind with an odd ball white light thrown in. Going to black and white cleaned everything up and put the focus on the shape of the light instead of the color. In the third picture, the reflections in the window are from Christmas lights that were lining the street.
