Default 500 yards from my back door

I took this today whilst out taking the shots for my Concepts of Composition thread. I thought I would share it with you. I walk regularly across these fields. They are just behind my house. Lots of grouse and pheasants here, and many quiet places where I go to pray. Hope you like it. PAUL

NIce shot. Are those all hedge rows dividing the fields or vine covered fences?

Niether Wes, they are dry stone walls, hundreds of miles of them all across the moors. Thanks for your interest. PAUL

Thanks Cherylyn. Yes the walks are great at all times of the year, but I do like summer best, especially when the heather is in bloom and all the moor turns purple. PAUL

Paul... this looks like a lovely place to have 500 yards from your back door. Very nice shot and wonderful composition.

I love the subdued winter colors here, Paul, and the sense of spaciousness as well. Your photo evokes such a sense of gratitude for the harvest gathered in, the warm fires of home, and the season of dormancy and rest. It is indeed a beautiful prayer chapel.
