Another great set! Love the taxi, and not just its wonderful stripes, but the clarity and composition of your photo. Your spiky friend is perfect in B&W -- we have so many around here and I know it can be a challenge to get all of the spines in focus. And the Botanical Christmas is just lovely -- the subtle colors are so beautiful. And I love the smile and wave from your new friend in the second one. Looks like you had a really good day with that camera.

Nice set Mike, love the second shot of the streetlife, looks so natural the way you have captured it. Also love the first shot of the prickly bush, cheers Steve.

me too!! I love botanicals especially the cacti and when we think of them we usually think sharp and prickly, this for me is the best way of capturing that, usually in abstract form. This time of year in the uk there is still so much about. cheers mike

of course ive just noticed you live In Arizona. I spent the afternoon taking photos for an Oxford flickr group called Alternative Oxford. Its just something a bit different to do as opposed to your normal than the classic shots of well known buildings etc. I agree that some of the spikeys are a little difficult to shot as there is not always good light here in the conservatories. I have been using a telephoto lens recently here a 55-200 and i can get in real close especially up to the high plants like the bananas and palms. There is one from madagascar which is impossible to get great detail but i will one day.I have no idea what the christmas plant is as it was way at the back and unmarked but it sure is a goodun thanks for posting mike
