Default Flower of a Weed

Took this shot the other day in my back yard. Took it with a Canon T1i with a tripod and a EF-S 55-250mm IS lens. The only editing to the original was moving in the dark slider on the histogram a bit and a little sharpening. The T1i was set to shoot in Faithful mode. I was very surprised the way the photo looked without any editing. This picture made my day! =D

You are right! That's my first attempt at selective coloring. I did it after a friend suggested it to me. It's done with GIMP. =)

What a beautiful little gem - love how the selective coloring just makes the flower pop out of the photo!

Thanks! I almost didn't take the picture since I was more interested with the Lizards on the face
