A few months ago I was traveling around the countryside in Slovenia on bike. It was a great opportunity to see many of the wonders of this country at a much slower place than had I traveled by car.

Athena, just as your set on the GC was yesterday, these are stunning. It does look like a jewel of a country. Thank you for sharing them.

A beautiful set, Athena. Each one is wonderful. I especially like the bicycles on the bridge -- makes me want to jump on one and ride off down the road! Thanks for sharing these.

Thank you, both, for your comments. I have done many bicycle tours and it is really one of the best ways to see things. A car is too fast and walking is too slow. But on a bike you can still cover ground and stop to photograph along the way.
Slovenia was just stunning. I was able to cycle in and out of Australia, Italy, and Slovenia due to the proximity to each other.
