Default Lord Tennyson at "Lincoln Cathedral"

Just been going through what I felt were images not worth editing and found this one of a statue of Alfred Lord Tennyson outside of Lincoln Cathedral. With a little editing I cant make my mind up if it's any good or not. So what do you think?

High Jim,
First of all, loving your work from your recent visit. And yeah I am not sure if this is any good or not, maybe it because the statue was made from dark bronze and I cannot lighten it to give it anymore detail. I love the cathedral and the sky came out ok but just uncertain if it were any good.
But thank you for your comment, makes me feel I need to look more closely at my images and see if there are more there that I am not looking at being more creative with
Take care.
David.

Wow, beautiful, you seriously passed this one by before? The composition is bang on the button, as is the dof & detail.
Excellent capture.

Wow, my first thought was that if you didn't feel this was worthy, I should thrown out all of mine! I love it David, really. I love how you've composed it, & I also love the contrast between the statue and the cathedral. A great perspective.

I know what you mean though - I have pics that I feel blah about, yet others have seen them and sincerely loved them. I think part of it is that we all are attracted to certain things foremost, so we just have to learn to broaden our outlook on our own stuff I think.

Hello Harry! I like this very much, you did a good job of exposing the statue, retaining the detail. The architecture of the the Cathedral is beautiful, It's a wonderfully captured photo with great composition and a lovely sky.
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.

High Nicky, thanks for your comment, I think you hit the nail on the head. Sometimes I think I have found a real gem and edit it a little stick it on here and it disappears without trace then one like this comes along which I thought would go the same way and it seems to be doing ok. Your also right that I need to broaden my outlook and try not to be so critical of my work.
Your such a clever lady....
Thanks again.
David.
