Default Greece in B&W

I was in Greece for the first time recently and i decided to try some black and white. These were taken with my G10

What wonderful composition on all three of these. They're very effective in B&W, but I'm sure I'd also love the color versions. Welcome to DPS -- I'm so glad you've joined us!

Nicely done in B&W. Bet the originals are just as stunning with the white washed walls, brilliant blue skies and sea.

The black and white works great in these type of shots....Athenian ruins are enhanced by Black and white treatment...to me anyways!

Hi Jon!welcome to DPS! i like the series..the details of the columns are enhanced by the b&w treatment..i myself have been playing a lot lately with b&w..not my usual cup of tea but it produces dramatic effect..tnx for sharing..

btw, i have a G11..just got it 2 wks ago and i am loving it..
