Default I'm Out of Here!

Hello DPS Family! I'm leaveing for Thailand again on Friday for 16 WonderFilled Days!
Christmas in Thailand isn't quite what most of us grew up with, I miss the family get togethers, the Egg Nog, Christmas Dinners and all the decorations, mostly the Fellowship. but Thailand is my Home now and even without all the Christmas trimmings, I remember it's all about Jesus and it's His Birthday!.

Anyway, I don't know why I liked this shot, but something about it, perhaps the angle of the wings. but It's the last photo I have to post before I leave, so like this Egret

Just fabulous, Michael! I love the unusual pose -- I think that's what grabs me about it -- I've never seen an egret quite in that position before. Great composition. I hope you and your family have an absolutely wonderful Christmas in Thailand, and I'll be sure to toast you with a glass of eggnog. And Tenzin sends Christmas greetings to Chewy as well.

Bye. We'd love to see pictures of Thailand once you get there! I hear the sunflowers fields should be in bloom about now.

Excellent parting shot. I've been chasing one of these things all year long. Either it ain't there when I have my camera or I don't have my camera and it just posing up a storm. Have a safe trip and Merry Christmas

Cracking shot Michael - love the pose! The background that the water has created is pretty cool too - partly smooth and partly rippled, I like it. Hope you have a very merry Chjristmas, and we'll look forward to some wonderful Thailand holiday shots soon. Travel safe.

Humm, I see the bird conspiracy is a world wide thing, I don't feel so isolated now. Great shot! Living most of my life in a colder climate Christmas in PR doesn't feel the same. All the celebration with family is the same and Christmas lasts much longer as the big celebration here is Three Kings Day on Jan. 6. It just doesn't feel right with 90 degree temperatures and no snow. Have a great time on your trip.
