Default Passion Flower

I love photographing these flowers...they have so much dimension. I just got a new macro lens last week, the Tamron 180mm macro lens and have been "playing" with it.
It was taken with a Sony A700 using the Tamron 180mm lens, 1/400sec @ f/5.6. 180mm, ISO200.

Wonderful photo with such beautiful color! Looks like that new lens did a good job for you. Welcome to DPS -- I'd sure love to see more of your passion flowers.

Default Live from Denver, IA.......Birds and Flowers

Since it is so bitterly cold here my friend and I took a trip over to our University Greenhouse. Not only is there ample opportunity for photos, but it was toasty warm inside.

Hope you enjoy these photos.

athena61,
No worries, I enjoyed them! Beautiful shots, I especially love the African Gray. I feel fortunate, the weather here in Florida is still quite warm!

Thank you. Your shot is so beautiful. The colors are very rich. And the clarity is outstanding. Nice job.

PS. Are new lenses fun?
