What’s Your Preference?

I am celebrating three reasons in this thread: (1) my 1000th post; (2) my New Camera; and (3) friendships formed here in DPS. Thank you for accompanying me in my journey..I am grateful for everyone who showed appreciation to my P&S shots..

I now have Canon Powershot G11..a Christmas present..(can I still call it a present when I bought it myself? Haha..) it is still technically a point and shoot but definitely an upgrade for me.. DSLR features are already incorporated in its small body... i am still struggling with the buttons so please be gentle..lol..

Jennie, these are stunning! Very colorful and spot on exposure. Your new camera is serving you well, but I'd also like to compliment you on your composition, which you gained through practice, practice, practice. Enjoy your new toy.

. Its gr8 to see the 1000th post of an active member. and congrats for ur new camera. I do feel sometime what can I do big using my P&S camera. when I see posts from people like u with P&S camera, I get confidence

Hey the reflection in 1st two pics are awesome and very colorful. Lighting in the last pic is beautiful.

Jennie, those colors are fabulous! My one bit of advice: take that first one, get it printed huge, and then frame it and hang it up on your wall.
