@Beach Appreciate the comments. Its nice to hear what your looking for as your such a master of scenic/landscape type photography.
@kgb Thanks! @storfman Certainly could have posted the original as I liked that version equally as well. Perhaps I'll take another look at it and post it in the future. @Garen Truth be told I never used to do much post work at all. Its been fun to try. I learn mostly just by fiddling. Its really a process of hit and miss. Although I haven't been good at it myself I would recommend somehow making notes of what your doing so that if you ever want that look again you can replicate it. @angeleyes Well the photo itself in taken in in the rail yards just north of city center here where I live. I was mostly thereto see what kind of pics I could capture of the rail cars. Then I found this flock of pigeons and figured if I got close enough I could fire of a couple frames and something would work out. As for processing as noted above I am notably terrible at documenting how I process my photos. I use PSE6 (photoshop elements 6). I generally use guided editing to adjust colour and hue etc if requred. I believe this scene is also cropped. To give the "look" I gave it I believe the treatment is called cutout. Its been a favorite of mine lately. Hope thats what your after. @dvetter Appreciate it. Thanks.
