Cool Green Amongst The Greens

Hi All,

Thanks to DPS, I learnt another technique and finally did manage to try my hands on selective coloring...

Only the first of these three pictures qualifies for the title, but since this was the first time I was happy with the title I could think of, I decided to go with it anyway ... (Maybe another thing I am learning from DPS!)

I am quite fond of the following picture, not because I find it technically good, but maybe because it just has a special place. I learnt this technique only keeping this picture in mind. However, I am not sure if I could add any value to it. Please let me know what you think.

I look forward to your comments, as always.

Cheers,
Archit!

Hi bmamba! Here's the link to the original picture:

I'm not sure if you mean how I took the picture, or applied "selective coloring" as it is said. However, this is the link I learnt this technique from:
GIMP - Selective Colorization

Please let me know if I couldn't answer your question. And, thanks for viewing the pictures! Cheers...

Wow, those are pretty darn good.
I really like the first one.

If you haven't already checked it out, there is a selective colour group here at DPS.
Your work will fit in just fine.

Congratulations!
