Default Trajectory

Hi,

as very much a newcomer to photography, I wanted to try an experiement to see if I could capture the whole trajectory of a firework and here it is.

I used a Canon 40D with Canon 10-22mm lens (set at 10mm) with the shutter speed at 32 seconds @ f/16. It was a blind guess as to whether I'd capture the whole event, but it seemed to work OK?

Can you give me some tips on how to improve it for next time please?

Great shot. I don't think you could have planned it any better.
