Default Orange Cosmos

Hello everyone, I'm new to DPS. Very interesting discussions, I look forward to spend lot of time here.

I like natural light photography and I use Nikon Coolpix 5100. Here's one of favorite pictures from my collections.

Welcome to DPS - and what a lovely shot to start off with. Bright colours, great use of shallow DoF. Remember Rule #1 (well guideline anyway) of composition though... "Centre is not better". Thanks for sharing. I'll look forward to seeing more of your shots in the future.

Also welcome.
In my opinion, the picture is bad.
It is too saturated, I can't see the details of flower. Lighten color, a little more contrast.
DoF is not bad.

Daniel, I agree the petals are not clear. I'm still learning...

Thank you all for your comments.
