Cemetery statuary

Shot a few in a local cemetery, I really think that the old statuary is almost a lost art. The newer stuff just does not compare.

Great shots. You're right, I think about the statuary being a lost art. Most of the new monuments are just not as good as the older stones. There are however some newer statues that are really good. TFS.

Thanks folks, this is the first time I have tried this. This particular cemetery is full of old, semi old and new statuary. I will be going back to shoot more.
Here is a rather interesting item I found there, just not to sure about the post processing yet.

These are nicely done, questor. I like the black and white treatment of your last series of shots. I also like your choice of the silhouette of Jesus on the cross in your first series. It's as if it were taken on Calvary
