Default Sunny Afternoon

As some of you know I've been busy with work and honey-do projects. Finally finished the house painting so I have some time to get back behind the camera. This is a spot that one of my employees showed me as I was giving him a ride home.

The Pelicans and Terns are all just hanging out soaking up the tropical afternoon sun trying to decide what to do...

Locals

Several of the Pelicans decided their course of action a few moments later. While I was getting this shot several of the Pelican's friends left Christmas presents for me on my truck. If you have seen any of my recent posts you will understand when I say that the birds seem to currently having a conspiracy going on toward me.

Hi Fred, that pelican shot is really very good, maybe too good. I hope the conspiracy ends soon.

That's hilarious though.....I have to say "great capture" on active crapping by a pelican......The phrase "tropical sun" sure made my ears perk up.......Tropical sun would be so so so so nice right now

Haha, that is soooo funny. Great pelican pictures, what is the structure they are all sitting on?

Welcome back. It must be such a relief to have the honey-do projects behind you! I had not fully calculated all the hazards one would encounter as a wildlife photographer. This certainly has the "Eeuuw" factor in spades. Uh...thank you for sharing.

Nice shots fred. Now that your honey-do list is done, you can get us some close-ups of a non crapping species.
