I was involved in one of the Help-Portrait events in my area today. Here are a few shots from the event:
*PICTURES REMOVED* ![]() The last photo is of one of the volunteers. We had a great time. It was a good learning experience for me since this was my first "formal" portrait shoot, and some even asked about me doing portraits for them at a later date. ![]() There are a few more photos on my Flickr if you care to see them. EDIT: I didn't realize that the founders of Help-Portrait asked us not to post the portraits since the event is about the families, not the photographers. After reading that request, I completely agreed and decided to remove the "formal" portraits. If you want to hear my experience at this event, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks, bwex.
Help-Portrait is basically a worldwide community of photographers that got together today in their respective communities to take portraits of people/families in need. It was all done voluntarily as charity. If you want to know more, check out the website.
