Ah Mate, these are cracking images and you have captured the sport perfectly. Really love the emotion and concentration in the bowlers faces. You have excelled in these images Bernz. Thanks for sharing them with us.
David.

Another Game I don't understand, except it's almost like Baseball except it's played with a paddle instead of a bat and called Cricket and it's played by Bowlers?
Oh well, these are Great Action shots Bernz! Lots a detail and you really nailed the stop action photography in these Thanks for sharing these Michael.

Don't know about your country Bernz, but in England one sure way to bring on the rain is to organise a game of cricket. A good photo opportunity though and you sure got these guys good. Thanks. PAUL

Hiyas Bernz .. I have a little experiance shooting a cricket match , I know I live the states, but I really do ! ..
It's easy to get static photos when not much is going on, but catching the ball in the air right out of the bowlers hand is quite difficult.. they speed up really fast right before they launch it, and it's not always the same speed or straight and level.. excellent job of freezing the action ! Scott looks like he's ready to smack the daylights out of the ball and send it into next week ! great stuff, Vin

Great action shots with alot of intensity.....I admit that I have no earthly clue as to how this game is played though I have watched it on tv before......Why all the movement in "pitching"...or "bowling" or whatever it is? A simple throw would suffice I would think....I know that all you cricket players are probably rolling on the floor by now....I am missing something in translation!
