Default Wind to winter only weeks apart.

Amazing how quickly the weather changes in New England.

Hi there,
First things first "Welcome to a great site and a fantastic community" I really hope you enjoy your time here and make lots of new friends. I hope you join in and have fun, I have to say I really enjoyed looking at your super images and yes it really is amazing how quickly the landscapes around us can change so quickly with the seasons. I really like the composition and colors in your images, especially the first one. I would have liked to have seen the whole boat in the second image as I really like the contrasting colors with the boat and the fall colors in the trees. But these are super first images and I am looking forward to seeing more soon.
Don't forget to join in and thank you for sharing these lovely images.
David.

Welcome to DPS cmonroe!

A couple of really nice shots.

I like how your eyes travel along the winding river. I get a real sense of cold looking at that shot.

The second is really well composed in my opinion. Colours are great. This shot would look equally good converted to b&w.

Very nice first post. Keep them coming.
