Default HIGH VOLTAGE!!! (first pic post)

Good Morning,
Thought I'd share this photo. Nothing special about a power line I know, but the clouds were just beautiful yesterday morning. Can't tell by the picture but looked as if someone painted them in the sky!
This is my first picture post but hope to post more once I purchase my new DSLR and all comments will be greatly appreciated as I am just getting started and have a lot to learn still! Thanks!

Default Thanks!

Thank you to all!
I did take other shots of just the sky but they didn't have the same affect as these did.
I was amazed when i was leaving for work and saw the sky.
Anyway, thanks again! I'm excited about finding my way through DPS and learning from everyone.

The combination of power lines and clouds are wonderful! I love the contrasts, and the power line tower gives a focal point to the photo! Great job, and welcome to a wonderful forum.

"Nothing special about a power line I know". You mean there WAS nothing special about it until you captured in a photo that made it into a work of art worthy of positive comments from other admirers. That's what we do as photog's. We convert the ordinary into extraordinary, which is exactly what you did here. Welcome to DPS Tamster, and just keep on posting shots like these for us all to enjoy. God bless. PAUL.

The sky is just amazing! The first shot is really striking with the full height of the tower and the sun shining in the lower left corner. Welcome to DPS, it'll be great to see what else you have in store for us!
