Some weeks ago I was wandering around a beautiful historical town here in Italy and the sky was veined like marble, so I pulled off this HDR. Hope you enjoy.

Love skies like this... and that is a beautiful church and from the looks of it, it looks rather alone...love how the scale of this works with the building looking more imposing than the tall mountain behind it

Thank you Steve, Angel and Patrick!
FYI that town is called Venzone, lies peacefully in the northeastern Italy and was founded more than one thousand years ago. It hosts many medieval churches and buildings (12th century and later) which make it a fascinating place. Famous are the mummies of Venzone. Their mummification process was not made by humans, but was due to natural causes like particular humidity and temperature and strong presence of calcium phosphates into the ground. Even Napoleon came to visit mummies back in 1807. History lesson ends here, sorry for being boring. :P
