Nice job mate,

I have tried this technique and have failed. But I am glad as now I know how not to take shots of water droplets

They're not my photos so I won't post them here but check out these shots in the Photo-synthesis Blog.

Microprocessor controlled drops and 1/60,000th sec flash!

That's actually step 3 in my master plan! I will not rest before I have created at least one picture of colliding drops.

Using E500D/T1i, Canon 18-55mm IS kit lens, Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS, Canon 50mm 1.4, Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro, Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro, Nissian Flash ETTL-II and two Vivtar flash with PT-04M remote triggers.
