Default A very merry Aussie christmas!

Well it was my staff farewell/christmas party this evening and we are lucky enough to live on an island in sunny Queensland. The weather was a beautiful 28 degrees C and a light breeze with clear skies!

Here are a few pics from the night just on sunset. The kids swam in the ocean as we all sipped cocktails before feasting on seafood at a beautiful restaurant - a very traditional Australian Christmas being rehearsed!

There has been no editing on this pics, just being resized! Comments are very welcome (yes I know one horizon is slightly on a lean )

Thanks, take care!

Miss Abel, basking in the sun and sipping cocktails, kids swimming and sipping a couple cocktails before a seafood feast now that is the life. To top it off a beautiful sunset captured by you and your camera...oh it does not get any better than that!

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas -- thanks for sharing both your photos and your traditions. That last sunset photo is just beautiful, such a wonderful composition.

Beatiful shots, Miss Abel. Worry not about someone's definition or rules about what is right or wrong about a shot. Where is it written that the horizon must be perfectly horizontal??? If someone wrote these words and placed his/her name next to it, then their narcissim will be their undoing. These are stunning shots!! Enjoy Indonesia. I've been a few time, and there is some spectacular scenery and wildlife to capture!! Just stay away from Jakarta!! Well done!

Hahaha thanks for that! I thought the same thing too but it was a DPS family member that said that but oh well, I am only beginning! I love Indoneisa, have been to most major islands and went to school on exchange there too. I will be based in Jakarta but am hoping to get out of the city a fair bit to hopefully show you all that it is more beautiful than what the media portray it as!
