Default My new motorcycle... with a ferris wheel!

A long exposure shot (8 seconds) using only street lamps for lighting. Some of the shots had really interesting patterns made by the ferris wheel, which has coloured lights that flicker and flash. EOS 20D with a Canon f/1.4 50mm lens on a tripod.

(For those who are interested, the bike is a Triumph Street Triple R, 2010.)

This is a commercial grade photo. I'm impressed, I should also get a 50 mm lens. Thanks for sharing.

What a dramatic photo! It really communicates power, vibrancy, and action.

Sweet shot! Beautifully composed and lit, and the ferris wheel (surprisingly) doesn't distract from the bike. How'd you get your gear to the Yarra on your bike? You must have a good camera-backpack?

Yeah, I have a backpack with attachments at the back for a tripod. I actually brought a reflector with me, but didn't end up needing it.
