Default Day 3: Austria - What I've been waiting for!!!

...I don't want to bore you with mere words. This is what I was hoping for before I even left the United States. All on the mountain agreed that this was the nicest day on Zugspitze in recent memory. And contrary to my typical luck, I was actually there when it happened! I wasn't worthy enough to fully capture the pure awe of what I witnessed, but I pulled out all the stops, and with all my heart and soul, here is the best I've got!

wide angle awesome (1 of 1)

nice view (1 of 1)

___majestic

___wow

Thanks for being with me every step of the way, my DPS friends!!!

Super shots Jim....just love the 2nd one and I know that the camera just can not capture what you see nor can it capture what you feel when you see it.....But these are majestic! Very different looking Austrian alps than what the Von Trapp family crossed in The Sound of Music.

Hi Jim! what a Beautiful Set! Great Landscapes my Friend! Looks like the wait was worth it. I see # 1 was shot at 24mm, #2 & 3 were at 105 mm and the last was 200mm, What lens/lenses did you use? I wonder what a 10 mm or show might have shown.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.
