Default Backyard Finds

Backyard Snail

I've really begun to enjoy crawling around my backyard and finding interesting and usually willing subjects to photograph. Maybe it's the fact the gas is expensive and my free time has become limited but it's forced me to look within feet of my nose instead of miles.

What have you found lately?

Camera: Nikon D60
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)

Thank you for your comment. Glad you like it.
Still too warm down here for this time of year. Hoping for some cooler weather over the holidays.

What a beautiful and unusual photo! It's a little too cold here to be crawling around in the backyard -- maybe next summer! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.

Wow! That is a gorgeous picture. The colors are very appealing, and all the lines are very swirly and complimentary. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your kind comment.

Everyone seems to have been effected by the latest storm which passed through there this week. Maybe I should ask, What have you found in your backyard this year?

Super shot, GH!! Excellent detail, DOF, and exposure. A winner. Save the gas...shoot some more in your backyard! Watch out for the gators, though!! TFS

Beautifully done! Sharp and clear. I like the dark red background against the green of the plant, and you got a water droplet to add a little freshness to boot. A job well done!
