Couple shots of the Northern Rail. I have been drawn to this bridge many times, it is very hard to get the right perspective on it because of it's location. It is right across the street from my work place. It just happens I had my camera at work one day when the freight train started to run and I came up with these.

Duane, these are great! I'm not the biggest fan of B&W (guess I just love pretty colors) but it is perfect for these, and really shows off your compositions and the way you've captured the various textures. So glad you took your camera to work!

Thanks for the colors! I love the first one in color -- the lighting and reflections are wonderful. But I might just want to keep the second in B&W to show off those textures. Actually I like them all!

Hi Duane. My the water level looks high on the river. Your second shot is quite spectacular. I like how the viewers concentration is on the sweep of the carriages and wonder if an even tighter "letter box composition" by cropping another 15% from both top and bottom might make that concept even more dramatic. The curve of the track certainly gave you an opportunity for a great perspective shot. Thanks again. PAUL

Very nice, Duane. I can see why you have been drawn to photographing it. I love the b/w. The contrasts in the first one are great. And I really like the composition and perspective in the second.
