I'm interested in photography as a profession some time down the road, but for now I'm using my kids and family members as a way to learn.
Here are some photos I took, please be honest (but not too harsh!) in your opinions! Thanks in advance!

Hi Audrey, welcome to dps. Your shots of the baby sleeping are adorable, love the b/w treatments. I also like the big brother shots, looks like he really loves his new brother. Word of advice is it is best to post medium size photos directly on your post rather than a link to Picasa, many will not click through.

Welcome to DPS Audrey. Those are very nice, good use of selective color and nice compositions. Your off to a good start! Duane is right though, you will get more looks if you post the pictures directly on the thread.

Like a lot of us and you I too use my kids as photography experiments.
I like your pictures. I especially like #18 on you Picasa site. Very tender and loving. Definetly one to frame and put in the house. I do like the selective coloring on it. You did a great job, but I think it would look better without the selective coloring and put more focus on the children and not the hat, much like your last picture on this tread. Great job either way. Keep shooting and welcome to DPS.
