Glen, these are wonderful. I especially love the last one -- that female cardinal just shines in the beautiful lighting, and the bokeh is beautiful.

Very Crisp and Clear Captures! Cardinals are such lovely birds, I used to watch them at our bird feeders when I lived in Arizona, they were a seasonal visitor there.
Did you use the 300mm f/2.8 on these? I'm going to buy that lens "This Year"!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing these Michael.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
The 1st two used the 300mm f2.8 + 1.4x Tele and the last two used the 100-400mm @400mm. The 300 f2.8 is an amazing lens you'll be very pleased with it. It has the reputation of being the sharpest lens canon makes and i'd have to agree, at least the ones i've used ;-) Quote:
