I apologize to all my DPS friends for not being able to comment on everyone's posts like I want to do. I've got a very unreliable internet connection here in the hotel. The hotel's router won't allow me to upload large files to Flickr, so I have to post all lo-res images. ...plus when I try to comment on posts, the wireless connection decides to go on a coffee break. So, again, I apologize for not being able to comment on posts while I'm gone.
...so, it's been raining here in Munich---miserable shooting conditions. We had to take a train into Munich, and I didn't want hump 30 lbs of gear to downtown and back. So, I only took my camera and 24-120, and was shooting handheld, high ISO (3200-11K) all night, which, surprisingly enough turned out pretty cool! Waiting for the train... ![]() Munich Town Hall...absolutely beautiful. Shot handheld and high ISO. The only PP done here is exposure reduction in the sky to eliminate the noise pixels resultant from the high ISO. The color is natural ambient light...pretty much what my eyes saw. ![]() ![]() ...just a random scooter in the rain, but I liked the glare of the water on the cobblestone ![]() ...so thanks for looking. When I return I'll be getting carpal tunnel syndrome from making so many comments. I feel like I'm about 500 posts behind the pace here!! Auf Wiedersehen!

Hi Jim, glad you're enjoying your trip, I love the shot of the train, the softness of it is well captured. That building is beautiful. TFS

I love them all but I really am drawn to #1 for some reason! Have fun (looks like you are) and have a safe trip. I always think it is awesome when people can still share there shots even on vacation. Gotta love modern technology!

To show you that I forgive you for not being able to comment on my shots while you are away I will comment on yours, lol. I like the pp in the first shot and the perspective and colouring of the Munich Town Hall. The last one of the scooter is my fave of the set, love the effect.
