Default December 7th...

1941, a date which will live in infamy. Franklin D. Roosevelt December 8th, 1941.
The historic line above was uttered by FDR the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Thus throwing the U.S. into WWII. Today, there are fewer and fewer survivors of the attack still with us. Just as I suppose there are fewer survivors of other famous battles of that horrific war. This afternoon, a ever decreasing number of these survivors gathered at the Hanger One Steakhouse in Wichita.
Attending this event were two members of the 4th Armored re-enactors group in Wichita. They served as greeters for the attendees.
To those that survived that day, that place, that war, that unbelievable time this image
is dedicated.

Pearl Harbor Day +68

Thanks Hayward. Even as they pass away, I hope we never forget.

When you see him next, tell him thanks for me, would you?
