I have one up in the critique section. I was experimenting with lighting. I just so happen to have black velvet curtains so it provided a good dramatic background.

Both were taken with a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens and processed in photoshop

thank you so much! I am very much a beginner at this so I'm really happy you like them :) I got so great suggestions over in the critiques area. I will keep practicing :)
