Arrow Candid "Street" Portrait - B/W, Youth, NYC

Hey there -

Here's another candid "portrait". Maybe street style - not really sure how to categorize it. In my original processing of this photo, i added some "film grain" to give it an older look, but now i did it w/out and i'm liking it a little better.

As always, comments/critiques are always appreciated.

Clicking the photo leads to the page where other sizes are accessible.

I like the shot and it converted well also. Lighting is exceptional for being in such a dark location.

That's an excellent scene. Those eyes are piercing and I would think a grainier look would take away from that, so I can imagine why you like this one better. well done.

Oh yes. Well captured. You couldn't have got it much better if you had arranged the pose. Is this near Brooklyn by any chance. I lived and worked in the Jewish community of Borough Park, Brooklyn, and this brings back potent and enjoyable memories. Thanks. PAUL
