Default Mad Max Location

In the middle of the Alantejo area of southern Portugal, there is an abandoned copper mine. It stretches for more than 5km and covers a vast area of the landscape. I visited the mine a week or two ago and came across these incredible architectural monstrosities. As the sun was setting, I caught my friend Ricardo standing like something out of a Mad Max movie. I just wish the sky was a it more dramatic.

really cool - do you have more shots like this ?

the guy in the black coat does contribute to the "mad max" feeling of the composition.

i;m fascinated on shots of old industrial sites in general.

thanks for sharing

Glayva, this does look like something right out of Mad Max, very rustic. I like your perspective on the shot, well done!

What an Incredible shot Glava! Really does look like a Movie location shot! I bet there were plenty of Photo ops there.
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.
