Default A little more snow than Susan's trip! ;)

Tis the season to head to the mountains and pick out Christmas trees! Looks like Susan and I had both had the same idea this past weekend. heehee! Except we saw a little more snow! This is our fourth year heading out to the same place. I didn't take many pics (and now I'm kicking myself in the rear for it...LOL), but here's a few of my faves. Notice how DD is totally being a sourpuss....meanwhile, as soon as we put the camera back in the truck, she's all smiles and throwing snowballs and laughing. Little stinker. haha

And yep, you are seeing this right! A picture with ME in it! Haha! Hubby did a great job!

Jody, Your shots bring back memories for me. Our family used to do the same tradition for years. Isn't it unusual for NC to get snow? By the way your pictures are very nice. Focus is tac sharp. Nice contrast also.

Thanks girl! I know, the snow was just coming down. I was so excited! It poured down rain the whole drive to the mountains! Then bam....a couple miles before our destination....snow! Woot woot!

Thanks. I'm hoping my daughter has those memories too when she grows up. I grew up in FL, no choose and cuts there. LOL. This is so much better! We are driving distance to sooo many tree farms in the mountains. So this was our first family tradition we made when I found out I was preggo! And I'm not sure if snow is unusual in NC, but its definitely unusual where I live in Greensboro. We drove about 1 1/2 hours to the mountains. There are actually a couple ski slopes within about 30-40 minutes of this place. So I think snow is pretty normal up there. We were about 20 minutes outside of Boone NC in these pics.
