Every year we go to this gorgeous 200+ acre farm to cut our own tree. We had our first bit of a snowfall last night, which was nice for setting the mood. They have a ton of tractors pulling trailers for hayrides to bring you to the different fields that you can cut your tree from, which of course is the highlight of the day for the kids! You find your tree, cut it, bring it to a close-by pick-up spot for one of the other workers to trailer it and bring it down to the sales area. My husband David grew up in this town knows a lot of the folks that work here so it's always even more fun to chat with them! Of course, Joey wanted nothing to do with the camera, but Victoria hammed it up for me. One of the view off the back of the hayride, and one of her. As always, thanks for taking a peek and your comments always make my day!

Hi susan, Good memories and a great shot of victoria. Our family used to go to the tree farm every year. We would spend hours looking for the perfect tree. No matter which one we chose, I would always wind up trimming branches and wiring others up to make it look great. Could never get them to decide quickly. they always took hours and I always wound up making repairs.

What a wonderful family tradition! Both photos are wonderful, but my favorite is your little sweetheart. What a beauty she is!

Great images Susan. There is nothing like a family outing to choose the Christmas tree. We only have a real one very 2-3 years due to my allergies, but it is always fun selecting the tree! TFS.

That looks like so much fun Susan, our tree comes out of a box, it would be much more fun to go and cut one down in the snow. Although that does remind me of the movie "Christmas Vacation".
