Default Amateur Photographer trying to get it right!

I have always enjoyed taking pictures and looking at pictures. Some day I would love my photos to come out like those pictures I have seen some of you all, and others, take! These pictures were taking during a carriage ride through Central Park. I often like my pictures to tell a story - each of these do just that.

Every generation can enjoy the park

Who says you need legs to enjoy the ride

Every man has a story

Hello Julie and welcome to DPS, I like your pictures and could easily attribute a story to each. I hope to attain your photographic goals and look forward to seeing more of your images as you work towards them

A warm welcome to DPS Julie. Let me tell you. You are an amateur photographer that got it right. Each of your pictures tells a story which the viewer makes from his imagination. Your pictures did just that with me. Well done, you made a great start. I have some lovely stories from your pictures. I will look forward to seeing many more stories from your excellent pictures.
Enjoy your time here and most of all have fun.

Dave.

Welcome Julie! I see several great stories in those shots! Nice job! Hope to see more!

Central Park...I need to get back there again one of these days. I took my very first digital shots while on a busines trip to NYC almost exactly three years ago. Spent an axtra day running around Lower Manhatten trying out my brand new Canon SD600 Powershot. Great times!

I love the last one. His expression says volumes to me. I think they are really interesting shots, all very well done.

Hehe, I love people spotting - this is people spotting by proxy.

Thanks for sharing these Julie, you've captured great diversity in the park that day.
