Default My 3000th Post

It's been 7 months since I joined DPS, I brought with me a little experience with a DSLR, mostly shooting in Auto modes. I'd just picked up a Canon 40D and vowed that I would only shoot in the Manual modes and DPS was the place to learn how to do it.
Well I've learned so much here, mostly from seeing how You my DPS Family do it.
But the best part is our DPS community and the Great Friends I've made here. I have Friends from all over the World now that I can share my passion with!
I look forward to many more share's with you all and seeing your photo's as well.

So here's the 1st photo for today! Her name is Khao, (White) as I've mentioned before in a previous post, her parents have so many children they just named them after colors.
My wife and I sponsor her education. Doesn't she have a wonderful Smile!

Well that's it for today, I hope you enjoy these

Well Congratulations Mate, could not think of a better way of using my feeble 700th post
I love your work and have always admired it. Well done on producing some of the most memorable images I have seen in a long time. These ones are simply beautiful and I love the colors and detail in your work.
Heres to 3000 more.
God Bless.
David.

More high quality pictures from one of the DPS masters of the macro, but today we also have the pleasure of viewing a beautiful portrait of the beautiful Khao.
Michael, your talent is self evident and apparent with every image you post.
You are a generous commentator on others' work, offering supportive feedback and encouragement.
DPS is better for your membership and your participation and I'm delighted to call you a friend and to congratulate on 3000 posts, well done mate

Nice fotos. Really like the black and yellow d-fly. You serious about having so many kids they named them after colors? Imagine being named Eggplant! TFS. PS Great 3000.

Michael, I am amazed to learn you have been a DPS'er for just 7 months. Your photo's reflect a quality that suggests a greater amount of time than that. Your shots always amaze me. Your comments inspire and motivate all of us, and I am going to excercise presumption by considering myself one of those aforementioned "Freinds around the world". Congratulations on 3K my freind and thank you for celebrating it with your usual high quality, and that beautiful young lady who is blessed to have your care and attention. God bless you. PAUL
