Wow fantastic shots, love the detail especially in the last two, very effective. You are very lucky to have such a supporting husband doing his part in these awesome shots.

Amazing. I have always wanted to try high speed photography. And I love that he kept the smile. I have two questions - what equipment did you use, and how did you pop the balloon?

Your husband is such a good sport and between you, you have really made me laught out loud. I bet this was so much fun to do and well worth all your efforts. Brilliant freeze action especially the one to finish off. I love how you captured the water cascading down.
Amazing work Michelle. Thank you for sharing the fun.

Love the new Avatar. LOL

Dave.

Beautiful work Michelle, I like the sequence of the shots and the way you captured the water cascading down his head. And what a great sport he is, especially if you used a bullet to burst the balloon instead of a pin from behind the curtain. (William Tell aka Michelle.) LOL

Nothing special howbig, I took the pictures outside but in the shade. I used a dark background to show up the water droplets, I set the camera on a high ISO (800) so I would get a fast shutter speed and used continuous shooting. Our daughter was more than happy to hold the water balloon above her fathers head and pop it with a pin.

Thanks Dave, it was a pretty hot day here today and Tony was about to go swimming so I just helped him along. As for the Avatar, this is my new look " Fairy Godmother"
