Default Ok..first attempt...

This is my first attempt with the new camera. These were supposed to be of my sister and my nephew. But my mom decided to distract the baby with food while I took shots of my sister and then all he wanted was food. It took them FOREVER to get ready. We were about ten minutes before sunset with no flash.

So let me know what you think... Please be honest. I'm not a softy.

and... this is my mom's guard dog:

These are fantastic shots! The in focus of your sister is simply stunning and your abstract is great too! I would love a guard dog like that too!

Fantastic work TFS!

These are very nice. Your sister is a pretty young lady and the guard dog is adorable. Great job!

I bought the 50mm f/1.8ii lens :-) I'm new to photography. I'm sure I'll get a lot better. Thank you for your kind words, though! Your input is much appreciated.

Great composition and focus on the first one. One thing that might be interesting next time around would be to add a little fill flash to bring in some catch lights in the eyes.

Keep shooting,

Boris
