Default Hoping to give Ruthie a bit of a tribute

My friends here know how I adore her work....I'm hoping that maybe, somehow, I've given her a bit of a tribute. If anyone feels I haven't done her justice, please feel free to yell at me!!!!

Nowhere near Ruthie's perfection, but I'm trying. I don't want to copy her and am trying to find my own voice, but this was my all time favorite and if I can emulate it in the least bit, I know I can do even better in finding my own style.

I sooo love this pose! I wish I could claim that it was my idea but I stole it from a photographer name Jorja...it's actually referred to as the Jorja pose whenever I see it done now! The one of my girls is framed large on my wall. My kids fought the whole time I was taking the picture because one was on the other one's hair..or she keeps touching me...or I can't lay down like this....etc..arghh... lol They look so peaceful in the picture though..haha
When I see this done with a boy..they usually aren't covered at all...just the girls so that's my only cc
I hope yours behaved better than mine did during the process...lol
ETA: I love the serious expressions...I'm such a sucker for serious shots!

I took about 40 shots to get this ONE. And I'm still not happy with it. Yours is my all time favorite! But you know how I love to stalk you, LOL! Oh gosh, are you starting to believe I really stalk you???? LOL!"

lol @ Georgia....hahaha
The other Jorja poses that I've seen put mine to shame... I'll send you a message and tell you how to find the other ones.
PS...it took quite a few tries for me to get ONE shot too!

I thought I was the #1 stalker. But I stalk you all! I love Ruthie's version also. Susan I think you did a great job here. I agree that maybe your son should not be covered. Other then that I think this is fantastic, I also love the serious look. I will have to try this with my girls sometime...Although I am sure they will also fight the entire time. I can hear it now...
