Default Homeschoolers are an amazing breed

These are pictures of one of my daughter's friends who is part of our homeschool co-op. For those of you who don't know, we homeschool our 4 children. Hannah, #21 can play the hard nosed tom-boy who can field a hard ball and can also spike the ball down your throat and enjoy it......

And she was also one of the most beautiful and talented ballerinas in our homeschool production of the Nutcracker Ballet...she has been doing ballet for about 8 years...I had to shoot this with my 105 mm 2.8 at 2.8 and 1/80th of sec at iso 800......precarious at best.....I couldn't be more proud of Hannah for her academic prowess and her cross disciplinary talents.....Homeschoolers rock!

I was home-schooled for 1 year just before high school. I'll have to second the thought that some home-schoolers are an amazing breed =) Definitely a mixed bag.

Well done on home-schooling your children, I wish I had done that with my son. Excellent action shots. I especially like the last two, the lighting and the beautiful pose and smile.

You have done a great job with the photos in such low light. I particularly like the ballet shots, they are lovely.

Wow! Patrick! These are lovely shots of Hannah..love the intense expression on the first one and that mesmerizing smile on the third and fourth..

i guess her talent in ballet is also an asset when it comes to the court..she is almost flying in that 2nd shot.. who could not be proud of such talented and beautiful daughter..

I think you did and amazing job with these Patrick! I agree that she's quite the young Lady!
You did very well with the low light situation as well.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Looks to me like you have every reason to be proud Patrick, and thats not the kind of "proud" that comes before a fall, but the kind that reflects on all the joys of childrearing and fatherhood unique to the family. Nothing is more satisfying, rewarding or important. Beautifull captures of a beautiful subject. PAUL.
