A moon photo war? Oh, goodie, this is going to be so much fun to watch ... and to dream about maybe someday taking a really good moon photo myself. I'm not sure how to describe this, and I have no idea whether it is the moon phase or the photo or both, but the way that the upper edge fades into the shadow makes this 2 dimensional moon feel so very spherical. Cool!

Very nice vin!!! Lots of detail there. Great shot.

We all have a long way to go, or we wouldn't be here. I have the highest respect for you and everyone here at dps and their photography. I learn new things everyday.

I'll try and get a new one tomorrow. Need to figure a way to get some more detail

Anyone else that wants to join in, are more than welcome. Post your moon shots here.

Not a chance when you dudes are shooting at 600 and 800mm.

Longest I can go even with a 1.4 TC is 420mm.

Great shots buy the way.
