This is where I'll be this weekend--the Redwood forest near Santa Cruz, California. I'll be watching Soleil and I'm looking forward to teaching her how to sing the squirrels to sleep. You do know the Squirrel Song? You don't? You can find it here. Enjoy your weekend.

From the `Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream Water`, your pictures have me singing Linda. Not the squirrel song of course, got to stay awake!

Linda, hope you enjoy your weekend. I really like your first shot. I like how the sunlight is hitting a small portion of the tree.

I can see you're already having a great time! Love both photos, especially the dark foresty feeling of the sequoia kissed by a tiny bit of sunshine -- so different from our usual Arizona world. And the view through the far end of the covered bridge is just wonderful. I'm already looking forward to hearing all about it. You'll have to enlighten me about the song -- is it supposed to be about squirrels?
