My first moon shot so go easy on me still in the experimentation mode.

Always a fan of moon shots and this one is a very nice example.

I'm curious... about what time did you take this? Reason I ask is the moon has an almost sepia tone to it... almost like it was taken shortly after moonrise or just before moonset.

Nice shot. I'm a fan of astonomical pictures and this one is really good, especially if it's your first. Just one question, is it zoomed beyond 100% or is it saved as a low quality JPEG. I'm asking because there appear to be artifacts that aren't a direct result of the photo taken
