I don't think there's anything wrong with it but you might wanted to add something to the title. *warning!* or something. Be sure to flag you're photos as such on flickr too.

As for the photos I like the last one but for the one with the blood and the bw version I think that I might wanna try to crop it a bit and emphasize the face. Maybe darken the picture too, but it's an interesting subject so maybe you shouldn't crop away too much? Difficult..

How was it to take photos of the scene? I've never been close to a car accident and don't think I would manage to bring up my camera if it happened (but I'm glad you did!). When did you arrive at the scene?

Regards

The black and white has no impact.

People see people in pain every day - flick the news on, so no, I don't think it's wrong - depending upon the context in which you're posting the images.

interesting shots but the first one of the injury is a little too morbid to me, I hope that you got permission!
I definitely agree that some kind of warning would have been appropriate, I found them fairly uncomfortable viewing.

I really like the third photo, great focus and wonderful colors.

As to whether it's wrong to post photos of people's pain, I think that is a very sensitive question to be asking. We're so accustomed to seeing photos of anything and everything in the news and online. But if I were this man or a member of his family I might not be happy about this being posted. But that's just me; I'm a very private person at heart.

Errrm...yeah I'd say there's something wrong with posting that here, it doesn't exactly fit in on this forum and it definitely requires a warning, as well, of course, as the subject's permission.
I have to question the circumstances here as well, I know photography is a gripping hobby but if it were me walking past a 'fatal' car crash, my first instinct would not be to photograph a victim. I'd leave that to the photojournalists who get paid to do that.

Just my thoughts

I agree with the others, an explicit warning would have been nice. I also don't think this is the place to post this kind of image and if that was a fatal crash, as your title suggests, then may God rest that poor man's soul
