Default Trip down Route 66

Spent last weekend visiting my parents and decided to spend a day traveling the old original Route 66 near Joplin Missouri. Had a great time and saw a few things that I won't soon forget.

This one happens to be of the place and one of the vehicles that helped inspire Pixar's Cars animated film. Cool place. Truly a fun trip if you're in the area.

Two Great Captures, Both are well composed and presented. I love the 2nd one "4 women on the Route" l.o.l
It's been years since I was on Route 66, I'm glad that parts of it are still there and maintained for the new generations to see.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Thanks! I appreciate the comments. LoL! Yeah there is some nostalgia left in that area. Some being restored, and some just as it was. Look forward to doing more of it some day.
