Default Moon -Sooc

I didn't touch it other then cropped out some black ( but no more then 25% ) closed my aperture to f16 and slowed down my shutter to 1/80, I listen and learn from my good friend and mentor "Primetime "

Moon A 12/3/09

Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/16.0
Focal Length: 800 mm x 1.6 camera crop factor = 1280mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Not easy for me to resist editing in photoshop.. but wanted a back to basics shot, i don't always need to mess with them .

I hope I passed the lesson

Vin

Really nice, Vin! I've not been able to come close to a decent moon shot, so maybe you'll inspire me to get out and give it another shot especially now that you've dropped some great tips

I saw the old man himself peaking over to tops of the Catalina Mountains tonight. From Chris Rice's I See the Moon: Can you see the moon tonight, a sugar white perfection? Bingo!

Great shot, Vin! I haven't tried the moon shot in a while as I have yet to have much success. I may have to give it another go. TFS.
